Hi! I have been hearing a lot of good things about ZOE lately, so I decided to give it a try. I have set it up on my Windows XP machine, and (after a bit of work) I was able to import my messages from my Mozilla Thunderbird profile. My email is stored on an IMAP server and the configuration of ZOE to access it was very easy. However, I have found out that when I erase some email from my IMAP server, it does not seem to be removed from ZOE as well. This is pretty annoying as I get a fair amount of spam and I don't want to get the spam messages archived by ZOE (some of them are pretty offensive and I don't want to see them on my search results). So, is there something that I am doing wrong? Also, I don't quite understand why did I need to import (manually) the Thunderbird mailboxes when ZOE seems perfectly capable of connecting to the IMAP server. Therefore is seemed to me that ZOE should be able to simply get all the messages from the server and it took me a while to understand that it would not and that I would need to import them from Thunderbird. Is there a way to get all the messages from the IMAP server (hopefully even from other folders which are not Inbox, like the Sent folder?). Finally, what will happen if I read my emails while ZOE is not on. While they be indexed the next time that I run ZOE? Ah! I'd also like to know if there are any "special" search options, like in Google, where you can use - to exclude a word, or quotes to force the search for a particular sentence, etc. Apart from that, I find this a very impressive program! Thanks a lot!!!! :-D Cheers, Angel ------------------------------------------------------- This SF.Net email is sponsored by: SourceForge.net Broadband Sign-up now for SourceForge Broadband and get the fastest 6.0/768 connection for only $19.95/mo for the first 3 months! http://ads.osdn.com/?ad_id=2562&alloc_id=6184&op=click
