Correct. ZOË performs a "copy on fetch". And from then on, its doesn't 
try to "synchronize" this data back with its original source. This is 
an archiving system after all :)

That said, if you have a workable proposition to address this 
situation, I would love to hear about it :)

And if you happen to stumble upon something you don't like, mark it as 
"discarded". This will get it out of your way.

No. This is how the app works.

You don't need to import anything if your data resides in your server 
in the first place. The app will simply fetch them. The mbox import is 
meant to be use when it's the only data source available.

Hmmmm... you lost me here... if your data resides on your server, they 
will be fetched. If not, this is a bug :)

Yes. Simply connect to it. The app will scan all your server side 
folders recursively to find every single message your server holds.

Yes, as long as you leave them on your server.

In theory, the full Lucene syntax is supported:

Your mileage my vary though.

Alternatively, use the contextual search (the little arrow pointing 
down near the search button). This will restrict your search to the 
current context (e.g. a date, address, etc).
