Hi! I had the same problem when I installed Zoe. You can access Zoe without authentication if you login from 127.0.0.1. If you do not have X and Mozilla available you have to use lynx to set your ZOE username/password (click on "ZOE" to get to the preferences page, then on "authentication"). Good luck!
