Hmm, might have found the answer.  Since I have only ever sent an email 
to this address, when I display the user page 
(http://localhost/address/com/host/user), there are no messages shown.  
Not sure this is correct behaviour - I would have expected to see both 
messages to and from the user, but it would explain why a search returns 
a null set.

Is it the designed behaviour that a user's page only displays emails 
from that person, and not ones to them? And if it is, how can I get a 
list of emails I've sent to a person.

Thanks for a wonderful tool - despite these teething troubles, I've had 
my laptop upgraded specially so I can run Zoe at work, it's that good :-)
