For me it didn't. After starting the new version of Zoë, it created a
dir named EFBFBDEFBFBDEFBFBD3700EFBFBD5DEFBFBDEFBFBD73EFBFBD19EFBFBD69EFBFBD3C
in every subdirectory of SZ (like Indexes, Mails, Queues,...) next to the
already present E7F0ED3700FB5DBCAC738119DA698B3C containing all the
data. Consequently, there are no messages in the interface.

What did I do wrong?

(this was an upgrade from 0.5.7 to 0.5.9 on Linux 2.4.24 using "Java
HotSpot Client VM 1.4.1_02")
