Zoe ... seamless upgrade ?

Hi,

 	I upgraded a few times since I began
using Zoe, and am trying to find out some easier
ways than the one described in:

 	I know that some of the steps described
in the procedure below are not *required*, and would
like to ask if the following procedure would work, to
update from 0.5.8 to 0.6.0, for example:

 	Simply put the new Zoe into the ZOE/0.6.0
directory.

 	Go to the ports setup, and increase the IMAP port number
by one.

 	Go to the Accounts menu, and setup an IMAP account with;

Server = localhost (assuming that old and new Zoe are on the same server)
Port   = IMAP port for the current running Zoe (0.5.8)
User   = Username for the current Zoe
Pass   = Password for the current Zoe

 	Press save, enable this account.


I noticed one day that Zoe, when queried from IMAP, simply deletes
mail ... Is it a feature or a bug ? Is this especially designed
for migration purposes ?
