ZOE's built-in POP3 server always lists all the messages available.

When accessing the POP3 server from your native email client, you need 
to configure it to keep track of what it has already downloaded. This 
is usually done by telling your native email client to "leave messages 
on the server". This will force your client to keep track of what it 
has already seen and only download new messages.

For example, in Apple's Mail.app, you need to disable "Remove copy from 
server after retrieving a message" under your account "Advanced" 
preferences.

In addition to the above, you can also configure the built-in POP3 
server to only list the last X messages, instead of everything. To that 
end, create a plain text file named "alt.dev.szpop.SZPOPSession.plist" 
under "<ZOE>/Library/SZ/Configurations/Default/" with the following 
content:

{
     "fetch.limit" = "1000";
}

Please note that the configuration file format has changed in the 
latest release (0.6.2) to PL (aka property list) [1]. If you have 
previously defined configuration in the old '.properties' format, they 
will get converted automatically to the new format upon first use. The 
meaning of all the configuration files as well as their content has not 
changed [2]. Only their format have.
