Must be 5 years since I emailed this list, but I still read the daily
digests.
I've been on 4AD-L since 1992 or so, and I'm wondering if the obsessive
collectors like me still subscribe?
I'm seriously considering selling my *complete* collection of 4AD vinyl...I
have every piece from 1st January 1980 to certainly the end of 1989, and quite
a lot from the early 1990's. A few pieces signed by Lush, Pixies, In Camera,
Wolfgang Press, Mass (!!), Throwing Muses, Swallow etc.
Now I have three kids, it's safer in the loft....never gets played.
Just browsing e-bay (I've never used it) I wonder whether it really is the
right audience.
I'd rather the stuff went to genuine collectors...hmmm.
Perhaps collectors who are looking for individual vinyl could email me?
Or should I sell the collection complete?
Just pondering on a wet holiday afternoon.
