As I said above, it doesn't take any special insight to observe that
the Christian right hasn't thrown it's weight into figuring out how to
make universal health care work.

***and ...so?  First, whenever they do they get smacked for forcing Christian
values and for separation of church and state.  And this STILL assumes that UHC
actuall helps end suffering.  Anyone spending any time at an Indian of VA
hospital might strongly disagree.

That's like saying "giving food to hungry people isn't the only way to
end starvation." Of course it isn't, but it's a hell of a start,
particularly to those who are dying of hunger.

theory for those with the resources, but it's a matter of life and
death for those who don't.

not not working.
