Patience had never seen the new "Battlestar Galactica" series. She was
a fan of the original series, and wasn't interested in a "re-imagined"
version, but I've finally talked her into it. Last night we watched
the first seven episodes (or, rather, the miniseries and the first
five episodes), and I'm suddenly remembering just how amazing this
show really was. So intense, so well acted and written. Nearly every
minute is gripping.

I'm quite excited because, as much as I loved the show, I never got to
see the final season. Can't wait to see how it all finishes out.
Without giving away any spoilers, any opinions on how well the finale
wraps everything up?

By the way, for those who are following my Netflix bitch session, the
Instant Watch selection offers EVERY EPISODE OF THE SERIES EXCEPT THE
FIRST TWO. I had to drive to Blockbuster and rent Disc 1 of the Season
1 set. Unbelievable.
