All taxation is wealth redistribution.  Roads, education, military,
social programs, judges and courtrooms, police officers, etc.

**aside from social programs, these are no redistribution.   These are everyone
paying the price for safety and civilization and in theory all people benefit
equally even if the wealth might pay more in effect.

and I what them as limited as possible.

didn't, with secondary effects of allowing or prohibiting commerce

In as much as
it's innately evil, it would seem to be a necessary evil and a lesser
one to most of the other evil in the world.  So I'd rather consider
the particulars of what wealth is moved to whom and how before I judge
a particular taxation to be more or less evil than a world without
said taxation.  (But, yes, in general I'm all for less and figuring
out how to do without.)
