I don’t necessarily have the same motivation, but the end result is the same:  I
feel a moral responsibility to be a part of the process when I am 
 
a)      Affected by it
b)      Taking advantage of it’s benefits.
 
I have spoken harshly on people who sit it out on moral grounds and that is
wrong of me.  But I admit, I see it was a bit of a cop out to refuse to
participate then to complain about how bad the political climate is.

I answer to God on this. I don't think God has given me that out. I am
responsible for what I am responsible for, government is responsible for what it
is responsible for. This is part of my 'render unto Caesar' duty. My faith is in
God, not the government. I do my part and stand obedient before God. That's it.
