Certain high ranking Republicans HAVE said their top goal is to make Obama a one term President and some are talking about what they plan to investigate first. I think this is a mistake and those particular Republicans are missing the point of their win. I don't think people elected them because they were hoping they would badger the President with investigations and try and bring him down. In our current economics, the politics of destroying a President is pretty counter productive.

Yup. Really, they cannot take John McCain's attitude that he gave after the Healthcare debate of "Well, that's it...no more cooperation." BOTH sides are going to be having to be willing to come together and cooperate. The success of the Clinton era was that both sides came together-not spent all their time blocking each other.
