I think it also worthy of note that we may be looking at this backwards.  When
taxes are higher, the companies tend to hoard cash and NOT hire.

Or at least that seems to be what some are doing now...

Um, I disagree with you on this point, actually.  D and I can think of all
sorts of people we'd hire if we had more money.  Likewise, I think at
least some businesses may have certain projects they'd like to intiate but
they can't because they don't have more money ... so, in theory, if their
taxes were lowered, they would then put those projects in motion and hire
people to work on those projects.  Doesn't seem like a stretch to me.
