Re: Death penalty

I'm sure this felt good to write, but this falls into the 'below the belt'
kind of post mentioned up-thread. (In full disclosure, I know whereof I
speak, having written far too many of these sorts of posts myself before.
I'm learning to self-edit myself. It's a slow, agonizing process. I'm not
fully there yet.)

(fwiw, despite my shared side-enterprise with Paul, I'm not taking anyone's
side - I'm cheerfully Conservative on this issue - I just prefer that we
depart the debate at least the same kind of friends we were when we entered
it.)
