I never said anything about assuming it would lead to one.  I said you should acknowledge the possiblity that it could lead to one.  Are these convictions of pacifism so shallow that you, (generic), can roll the dice with them?
 
I sincerely respect true pacifism, even if I disagree with it.  What I don't respect is convenient pacifism.
