I have no particular agenda, if that's what you mean.  I just think it's 
an interesting irony, that the word "bad" came to mean what it now means 
because our Anglo-Saxon ancestors kept saying "that's so gay" until they 
forgot that "gay" meant "gay"; now it simply means, well, "bad".

I wonder if they had *another* word that literally meant "bad" back then. 
Kind of like how I sometimes wonder what the original Latin word for 
"penis" was.  The word "penis" itself is Latin for "tail", but it was a 
euphemism that people kept using and using until it wasn't a euphemism any 
more, it was now thought to be the "real" word for that body part, the 
word that people tried to avoid by using *other* euphemisms.
