Reagan ‘bounced back’ and won by one of the greatest landslides in history. Nice bounce. As for Obama, this is actually his own fault, and that of his supporters. They built him as (figuratively) the savior of all things, an unsustainable level of expectation, and now they have to face the reality that he cannot live up to it. Oh yeah...you are right...but Reagan had seen his popularity take a hit two years in with voters. And both he and Clinton bounced back nd are considered fairly successfull. Two years in seems a bit early to declare Obama any kind of failuer, let alone a spectacular one.
