Many of my blu-rays say that. Ten seconds later I am looking at the menu.

Subject: [DADL-OT] the sluggishness of blu-rays
So yesterday I picked up the Fantasia Blu-Ray combo, and when I popped the first disc in my player, a title card came up reminding me that, depending on my player, it might take 2-3 minutes for the disc's content to load.
I have seen title cards like this before when loading Blu-Rays, but it had been so long since I popped one in that I had forgotten about them. Anyway, I was reminded of our recent debate over whether Blu-Ray discs take too long to get going. Apparently the problem is big enough that the manufacturers of these discs feel the need to warn their viewers.
