I was thinking more in terms of personal information. I don't have a
problem creating a username/password for most any service. But I don't
even tell Facebook stuff like my hometown or where I live.

And while we're on the subject, Daring Fireball
(http://daringfireball.net/linked/2010/12/21/wsj-app-privacy) makes a
good point that this kind of abuse is going to be more prevalent on
free, ad-supported apps. Which is just about the only way an app can
make money on Android.
