This sounds like a perfect case of the Transition Blues - going from a place where you're on your own to take care of your own needs / desires to a better, scarier place where the person you're in a relationship with has the opportunity to fill that role. (I'm not excusing Patience, just observing that I can see how that might happen. If it were me, I'd be all like 'Arrrrrgggghhhh!' And then, as has been said, I'd give it to her anyway, because O.
