First off, the Best Buy salesman is just trying to make a sale. Never trust them to know everything about everything. Not saying I know anything about this technology, but I'm really skeptical. Second, assuming that she spent around $140 (the going rate of the 2tb Seagate GoFlex drive at BestBuy) plus $20 for the adaptor, maybe she can take it back, and then order something online. Under $200 is a bit of a stretch, but there are some options. $180 - LaCie 2TB - http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B003184GL2?ie=UTF8&tag=wpbg-20&linkCode=as2&camp=1789&creative=390957&creativeASIN=B003184GL2 John On Tue, Dec 28, 2010 at 12:04 PM, pcg <[email protected]> wrote: > Patience got me a 2 terabyte external hard drive for Christmas.
