Exactamundo.  But as Palin *herself* says -- *in that video!* -- people 
are only responsible for *their own* actions.

So, Palin is responsible for what *she* says.  She is responsible for *her 
own* contribution to the tone of this debate.  And if she wants to plead 
ignorance and say she had no idea how her words would come across, then 
fine, she can do that.  But defiantly standing her ground and saying it's 
everyone else's fault for knowing more than she does about the history and 
meaning of the term is really not an option here.
