question then, what should she have done?  Sit back and allow the accusations to

Her eight-plus minute presentation, with the flag to her side, smacked of 'I'm
doing this because I'm so important to the country's political process that I
must inject myself into this tragedy for the sake of the people. In this case,
there were plenty of people doing exactly what I did, expressing strong opinion
that singling her out in the attack was A Bad Thing. By saying nothing, she
would have shown poise, self-control, and tact, and allowed the conversation to
naturally come back around to the shooter. 
 
**by saying nothing she was being soundly criticized of being afraid to admit
her guilt.  So you are upset she had a flag?  Really?   Having a flag makes it
political?  Really?


Plus, eight minutes of defense smacked to me very much of She Doth Protest Too
Much. (And I'm ostensibly one she considers to be in her general political
corner.)

She had 4 paragraphs lamenting the shooting.  Were they bad?  What about the
final two calling for the nation to come together?  Bad also?
 
**yes, in the middle she directly address the bullshit accusations made against
her.  It needed to be done.  And I have yet to see one liberal who made them
apologize for jumping to conclusions.  Liberals like that disgust me.

parties or affiliations, and only the media was called out.  She ended it with
pretty much the same sentiments as Obama.  How was that bad?
It is Obama's responsibility to comment on what happens in his Arizona, an area
under his jurisdiction as President. Palin's not even responsible for Alaska
anymore.
