Of course they had a choice. They chose unwisely. And of course it was
unfair of them to do so. It was so unfair that reasonable people would have
respected her for not taking the bait. (As one who has baited and taken bait
this very week, I am not above recognizing my own hypocrisy. But I'm just a
guy and she's angling for the highest office in the land, perhaps the world.
One expects more of those who fashion themselves as leaders.)
