Can't see why poetry recognized-as-such would be a problem here.

You'd be more convincing if people in the real world didn't really believe 
the Constitution is divinely inspired (i.e. Mormons) or that America as a 
whole is God's chosen nation and God's special gift to the planet (i.e. 
lots of Christians).  And do keep in mind that Palin made two references 
to America's "exceptionalism" in this same video recording.
