Uh oh.  I'm with Paul again.  I

'm sure he's made mistakes and could have been a father but its awful easy to 
sit back and armchair parent it when it isn't your kid who is a multi million 
dollar marketing machine.  I couldn't help but feel for the guy - he, above all, 
seems to realize he should have done some things differently, and I believe his 
pain at seeing some of the stuff his daughter has done and being able to do 
nothing about it.

Yowch. I no little-to-nothing about Cyrus, but in that piece he came
across to me as a fairly sympathetic guy who got in over his head and
now has to live with the regret. What draws such ire?
