He was no blushing flower to the entertainment industry, even if his brush with fame was fleeting. Put simply, in my opinion, the guy pimped his daughter to hollwood a s a way to recapture his brief fame, and now he is whiney about it. Sorry, my sympathy light is not on for him. I am sad for Miley though, who he helped turn into a monster. I'm with Paul again. I 'm sure he's made mistakes and could have been a father but its awful easy to sit back and armchair parent it when it isn't your kid who is a multi million dollar marketing machine. I couldn't help but feel for the guy - he, above all, seems to realize he should have done some things differently, and I believe his pain at seeing some of the stuff his daughter has done and being able to do nothing about it.
