I found it more interesting that his use of religion explicitly avoided his own religion.
Although, Fox has never ignored religion and has given favorable coverage to religious conservatives-so the idea that his injecting Christian religion into the show somehow caused a problem with viewers seems unlikely. I mean, they gave Mike Huckabee a show.
