well-off couple in question is Barack and Michelle Obama, whose tax returns,
just released, show they paid substantially less than the president says others
should pay.

The President has never excluded himself from this. In fact, he cited *himself* as an example of someone who SHOULD pay more in taxes in his speech. So what's this guy's point? It's not hypocritical that he paid what he owed instead of what he feels that rate SHOULD be. He is willing to pay the higher rate should it be adopted. If the taxes get raised and Obama weasels out of paying the higher rate-then he is guilty of hypocrisy.

What a lame "gotcha".
