Perhaps.  But I don't think really believes in an *absolutely* flat tax. 
I mean, at a minimum, I'd be surprised if any serious number of people
seriously believed that *everyone* should pay income tax, even the people
who only made a couple hundred bucks last year.

**I know a lot of proponents still want to but a minimum income threshold on
it.  Again, I see the need for that but it still continues to advocate a
system that is not consistent.

**I think if you accept the idea of an income tax in the first place, then
everyone should pay equally.  The whole debate with the rich is not that
they do not pay enough in taxes.  They all pay the same rate ....On their
adjusted incomes.  The real problem is the tax code and its plethora of
exemptions and loopholes.
