Well if you hand out capes to make people feel better about not having jobs
and you get the capes from off shore, that means you denied people a chance
for a job making capes here.

Oh.  It's not so obvious to me, although I suspect when the answer is
revealed my response will be "sure, but that's too obvious".  


The real question is why corporate america likes the *better than free*
money from the fed for everything but labor costs.  It was good enough to
fund the real estate bubble and is good enough to fund the commodities
bundle, but not good enough to put people to work with?

I think it does not matter which country made the capes, the fact that they
were outsourced in the first place is the irony.

You know, the answer to unemployment in the US is so blatantly obvious that
I can only conclude that policymakers are either impotent to take on
financial interest of wall street or they are bought completely.  Is there
any other explanation why this is not a

political hot-button issue?
