Re: nit-pick

If there's an understandable, sensible origin for a term (such as suped up),
I prefer educating people and then letting them write what they will.

The theory is that once a person who was ignorant of enlightenment
understands the origins of something, once they learn the truth, only
contrarians or lazy people will continue to willfully spell something
incorrectly. (See, for example, Daylight Saving Time instead of Daylight
SavingS Time.)

Yeah, it's an uphill swim, but if one can educate without descending into
utter GrammarNazi mode, I think it's worth the effort to educate people.
Whether people cooperate or not is up to them.
