I think Trump has proven that conservatives can gain traction by going
strong, something they need to know.

All Obama did was give Trump actual legitimacy here.

So ... does this mean Trump will have even *more* sway in the next year and
a half of election campaigning?  Is there *no* chance that Trump will be
diminished because Obama has disproved Trump's speculations?
