Actually I think accusations were made about family connections getting him
in and such.

So I fail to see why it is bad to assert such things as affirmative action

Hang on, people didn't question if he got into school by questionable
means...they just noted he was a "C" student.  As I recall, so was Kerry.
And also?  Kerry was knocked for being rich and being unrelatable by the
common man.  Suddenly, one of the richest men in America is talking about
running and Republicans think he's a guy who can appeal to all?
