Of course that is pretty much what the media wants you to accept..at least
that's my perception.

My biggest problem is the amount of HUGE untruths my fellow Christians and
Americans will believe about our President, whether it's "He was born in
Kenya" to "he's a secret Muslim (which evidently all Muslims are terrorists
by this ilk)" to even "Obama is not even black."  It troubles me that 43% of
Republicans believed Obama was not American.  I'm willing to have economic,
political, social differences with the Republicans, but sheer gullibilty
shakes me up especially when we are trying to debate some HUGE stuff in our
national, state and local political arenas.

 

That's not to excuse the rhetoric on "my side" of the street.  To be honest,
I can only watch Morning Joe on MSNBC when even Rachel Maddow sometimes
sounds like the mirror universe's Rush Limbaugh.  I will say seems a lot
more hot air blows from the right, but that might be my perception.

 

Also troubling is the loss of compromise by our leaders.  

 

So who do I hand this soapbox to now?
