I really like Creature Tech -- enough that I own 3 of the original
pages -- but despite being on his side (at the time) in regards to
Intelligent Design, and despite being a Christian myself, I thought
the book could be considered a little preachy.  But maybe I'm overly
sensitive.

Still, I've found that Tommysaurus Rex and Earthboy Jacobus were even
more preachy -- each in different ways.  I don't think Iron West was,
IIRC, and I forget if I noticed anything in Monster Zoo.  Looking at
TenNapel.com it looks like I've lost track of his work... I may have
to get caught up.

I just gradually stopped lurking on his site. I think maybe I did find
that he was getting a little too blunt with regard to his religious
and political beliefs in his art and I usually prefer more subtlety.
I'm sure it doesn't help that I'm not necessarily aligned with him
politically -- partly just because I'm Canadian thus American
Patriotism generally doesn't move me.
