I don't know how "new" it is, really.  If I'm not mistaken, Obama said on 
the campaign trail three years ago that he would take bin Laden out, even 
if the U.S. got no support from the Pakistanis; indeed, one of the stated 
problems that Obama had with the Iraq War was that it was diverting 
resources from the bin Laden manhunt.  So, okay.  Obama got the guy.  But 
the question for Obama, as it has been for everyone else, is this:  What 
*now*?  And this is where larger foreign-policy issues come into play.
