I got a B&N NOOK Color, which I quickly turned into a straight-up Android
ablet by loading the CyanogenMod 2.3.3 Gingerbread OS. Now I'm reading my
indle books in the regular Kindle app. I have internet WiFi access, have
ull access to the Android Market, and, yes, can play Angry Birds. It's
ighter than an iPad but heavier than a Kindle. I have a leather cover which
oubles as a stand. For $249, I'm really enjoying the purchase.
