Just for the record, I started thinking that perhaps the reason I was so taken with "Thor" is that I expected it to be horrible. With such low expectations, perhaps I couldn't be but impressed if it was even competent. Not so. With adjusted expectations, I took my kids to see it this weekend, and I liked it even more than I did the first time around. Both my five-year-old boy and my twelve-year-old girl (!) were literally fist-pumping, hooting, and high-fiving at various points during the final 20 minutes. We stayed for the post-credits bonus scene, and Caitlyn remarked, "They *better* make another Thor movie, or I'm gonna be mad." Me too, baby.
