I guess I read that quote as different.

Not true at all. He produced a Bush quote that also suggested using
the 1967 borders as a starting point. I did not gloss that over...it
doesn't change that he never answered the questions and accused me of
supporting the genocide of the Jews.

He pointed out, rightly, that Bush never actually said that, something
you
appear to have glossed over.

Just saying. Maybe he is a bit dramatic over Israel, but you did
misrepresent the position of Bush, unless you have some reference I do
not
know of.

And as for Clinton, I would not be surprised if he said what you claim,
the
Democrats have in recent history been a bit more touchy feely for
Palestine.
Carter for example who won't even concede that they support terrorism.

Well, I asked exactly what was so terrible about Obama's
speech...noting it was similar to Bush and Clinton who both agreed that
the 1967 border with some exchanges was the best way to go. Israel has
not disputed it either. So what was so bad. His response was to
ignore it. So I asked for clarification about what was so terrible
about the speech. No answer given-except to ask why I supported the
genocide of the Jews. I pointed out that that was a cheap shot, unfair
(imagine if I countered a pro-lifer by simply saying "Why do you hate
women?") and said I was out of the discussion. His response? Good,
because I clearly had no idea what I was talking about (in spite of him
never enlightening me, merely making baseless accusations. Then I
posted the same comment (naming no names) I posted here about my
surprise that the proper response to sincere questions being accused of
supporting Jewish Genocide.

His response? To call me an idiot and STILL not offer a defense of his
reasons. Oh, and call me out for mis-spelling Israel.

It was just to much and his unwillingness to dialog thoughtfully, as we
have in the past made me decide it was time to axe him.

Do tell! What provoked you to the Unfriending ban hammer? (Not that I
haven't considered it myself - I've hidden people's posts, which is like
Unfriending without the vitriol. If anything, it's worse, because the
hidden
person doesn't know their precious posts are hitting a hidden
forcefield and
dropping anonymously, silently into the soulless ether.

So, yeah - what's the story? ; )
