You know, I am willing after further reading to concede Bush didn't say go
back to the 1967 borders.  But technically, neither did Obama.  

**Obama said this:

	  "The United States believes that negotiations should result in two
states, with permanent Palestinian borders with Israel, Jordan, and Egypt,
and permanent Israeli borders with Palestine. The borders of Israel and
Palestine should be based on the 1967 lines with mutually agreed swaps, so
that secure and recognized borders are established for both states.

**not agreeing or disagreeing, just adding the statement for clarity.

I know Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu read it that way.  But he
clearly did not pay close attentiontion.

  The suggestion was to start from the 1967 borders and work from there.
But not to just stick with them.

***you put more faith in Palestinian cooperation than I do.  Israel has made
many more concessions to Palestine over the years, and everytime they do
they get a rocket in their face.
