Well, challenge him on the specifics then. Don't just act all offended that
he believes differently than you do, trying to get him to back down and
apologize.

that necessarily, but honestly, it should make no difference to you.

Sure. And in a sense I'm also protecting people's right to think the that
Orthodox are backwards, outmoded, out-of-date, whatever! I am not offended
by that, people can think what they want.
