Steyn raises a good point there.  Add to that the TeavParty fervor 
seems to have cooled, their gatherings don't draw the numbers they used 
to(which is normal formany movements).

And yet, Republicans go after Planned Parenthood who provide help to 
women that prevents unintended pregnancies.  And imagine how many more 
single moms there would be if abortion were hard to access...oh, wait, 
they are passing legislation on that as well.

I find Steyn's portrayal of Republicans as constantly rolling over to 
us liberals rather hard to buy.  All we see happen is Barak Obama argue 
with Republicans until he gives them everything they want to get one 
thing he wants.

And we cannot course correct with a better plan than Ryan's?  Steyn 
seems to be under the impression that this is the case.
