Steyn raises a good point there.  Add to that the TeavParty fervor seems to
have cooled, their gatherings don't draw the numbers they used to(which is
normal formany movements).

And yet, Republicans go after Planned Parenthood who provide help to 
women that prevents unintended pregnancies.  And imagine how many more 
single moms there would be if abortion were hard to access...oh, wait, 
they are passing legislation on that as well.

**planned parenthood is a viable target when they step out of that role to
abortion advocacy and illegal activities.  And since the government only
funds about 8% the real impact of this is actually negligible.  Maybe they
should drop government funding and also drop the money they spend lobbying,
it might end up that it is a zero sum game.

I find Steyn's portrayal of Republicans as constantly rolling over to 
us liberals rather hard to buy.  All we see happen is Barak Obama argue 
with Republicans until he gives them everything they want to get one 
thing he wants.

**huh? I'd like to when that has ever happened.  Or did you forget all of
the "I won" and "they have to sit in the back" moments?
