You keep mentioning the rifle and forget the grogginess after the 12 hour shift. It matters. Also, they have body armor and he didn't. Also, they fired first (and 70 times after that) and he didn't fire at all. Sorry, jackbooted thugs. If you want to make the case that we're too steeped in a culture of violence, you have to point the finger at those guys and not the homeowner. All the violence came from their direction.
