Well, I couldn't help but think back to a comment made on this very list upon the announcement of the death of Ted Kennedy... something along the lines of the world being better off with fewer Kennedys in it.  This list is not actually private.  People outside the list could stumble on it.  That's why Peter is so careful about certain names.  


The fact is, while insensitive, Ebert was not celebrating or mocking someone's death.
