Good idea! I'll have to do the same, but in the meantime maybe someone can help me with a related question. I'm thinking about getting a rackmount compressor and a pre-amp. How would I wire them? My choices are: compressor -> pre-amp -> amp or pre-amp -> compressor -> amp I know I'll be able to try it both ways but has anyone done so already? Does one way have a benefit over the other and, if so, why?
