Here is my 1/2 cents worth.. I was looking for a small/light combo that would fit into the trunk of my Toyota Celica Convertible (those of you familiar with convertibles are aware of just what little trunk-space is available): This is what I found after months of research weighing only 47.5 lbs (21.55 kg) dimensions: 20.6" x 16.3" x 16.5" (522 x 413 x 419 mm)This combo is a ultra-compact portable single ported 12" all Aluminum slant-back design (similar to Hartke "Kickback" with more features and half the price):

Don't be fooled into believing it's an actual 180 watts, but it pumps out a tad more volume than my '72 Ampeg B-15N and doesn't need castor wheels. Sounds great if you are into Aluminum Cone Bass Speakers (they also have the same amp with a paper cone, but never bothered to even give it a listen cause I dig the "Hartke-sound"). There is not a single review on this amp (released in 2008) anywhere on the net that I could find. Even though a lot of the features are useless, a lot of them are nice and you can achieve a great tone with this very affordable (paid $250 US with 1-year warranty) little sub-compact. I've used it for both practices and small-venue gigs (has built in DI out and an effects loop too) I know Behringer has a bad rep but even pro touring groups use some of their rack gear... Those of you who can't afford high end gear for a sub-compact combo may want to consider one of these or something similar...
