could be that the piezo pickup might have gotten damaged?
peg on the bridge? is that what your referring to?
the piezo pickup is typically under the bridge. you can back off the tensio=
n of the string that popped up and reseat the peg, and try again.

      I was recently changing strings on my AE Ibanez bass when one of the =
pegs popped out while stringing. Now the volume on that string is noticeabl=
y lower than the others when I play thru an amp. Sounds fine acoustically t=
hough.



Sounds like a major problem to me. Any ideas?
